Brian Kenny, Business Manager for our Catholic Community of St. Bernard & St. Matthew, received a citation from the Connecticut General Assembly for his work establishing Clairvaux House, a temporary shelter for homeless mothers and their children owned by St. Bernard Church and operated by the Cornerstone Foundation.
The citation was introduced by Rep. Michael Winkler, Rep. Tim Ackert and Senator Anthony Guglielmo and was awarded at the Annual Vernon Community Network Luncheon June 2nd . It reads “In recognition of your outstanding service as Business Manager for St. Bernard Church. Your attention to detail and remarkable ingenuity in pursuit of the goal of assisting needy families in our community is inspiring. Your tenacity in meeting every challenge to utilizing Clairvaux House to assist needy families will result in a great benefit to many of these families in the future.”
